Best Western Plus Steeplegate Inn - Davenport

This hotel suits me perfectly! The indoor pool, free Wi-Fi, and 24-hour reception provide everything I need. The staff even helped me with sim cards on my first stay. Highly recommend, and I'm coming back for Christmas!

The location was favourable and peaceful, really close to the restaurant on the premises, area attractions, and Davenport for nearly 10 years. Had brand-new room with great bed, I loved it. The staff members were efficient and attentive.

Very good location right of I-80 and when you visit John Deere. Easy WiFi access.

The breakfast was OK. They said breakfast was a buffet in the 'restaurant'. If you've ever stayed at a Hampton or similar and had their Continental Breakfast...this was the same or less. Not a restaurant at all. Just a Continental Breakfast, like anywhere else......with less selection.

The "Non-Smoking" room had a cigarette smoke stench that gagged me when I walked in. I called and they moved me to another room. It was ok. I was in a hurry booking this room. Had I taken some time, I could have had better accommodations for 1/2 the price. Not sure if that is a problem with the hotel or Booked.net. But I don't know if I will use either again.

I loved the central location of the common areas at best western. The front desk staff were super kind and helpful, allowing us late checkout for the bix race. We enjoyed taking a dip in the indoor pool, a nice touch.

Comfortable beds, clean room.

The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable king bed and good amenities like a microwave and coffee station. We especially loved the excellent breakfast options in the morning.

Comfortable hotel, wonderful breakfast, we enjoyed all the amenities like free parking and the fitness centre during our one night stay.

Liked everything.

We loved the indoor pool and even challenged each other to some table tennis. Plus, the local spots we visited were awesome. Great location for a fun getaway. Just a heads up, make sure to check any extra charges on your bill.

I was surprised by an unexpected charge on my card after checking out. I wasn't informed about this policy when I checked in.

Had a spacious king bed room with a comfy bed. The pool area was clean, and the unique layout of the hotel offered plenty of parking. Enjoyed using the well-maintained fitness room, and I loved that the air ducts don't blow directly on the bed.

My kids wished there were more options for breakfast items for families. The pool area could use some better supervision during peak hours to help manage a large group of kids.
